Meet Kwelin Pipkin (kway-lyn)
Principal Consultant | Certified Professional Coach
With over 19 years in the public sector, particularly in community and human services programs, Kwelin has successfully led numerous community revitalization projects and federal workforce development programs. Her collaborative approach has been pivotal in fostering partnerships that drive economic mobility and create opportunities within communities, contributing to their long-term success.
In 2019, she completed the Designing for Social Systems program at Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, which equipped her with advanced skills in aligning workforce development programs to individual needs. This expertise reinforces her deep knowledge of public workforce systems, where she adeptly implements federal grants, advances data analytics, enhances job quality, and supports individuals facing barriers to education and employment.
Additionally, she specializes in coaching entrepreneurs, transitioning professionals, and executives, guiding them to unlock their potential and thrive as confident leaders.

Kwelin is also a Senior Program Officer for the American Institutes for Research (AIR) Opportunity Fund. In her free time, she enjoys being with her two sons, ages 9 and 10, and her senior dogs, Trumpet and Kane.

Served as an Evaluation Committee member for the City of Phoenix Aviation Department’s Revenue Contract Solicitation (RCS) 24-001, overseeing the selection process for a childcare facility at the 44th Street Sky Train® station. Responsibilities include Evaluation Panel Training, Consensus Meetings, and reviewing proposals to ensure the selection of a qualified provider to build, operate, and manage the facility.
